The Ferguson Rogers Process - made up of You Am I’s Tim Rogers and The Bamboos’ Lance Ferguson - have announced the release of their hotly anticipated debut album, Substance And Or Style, and have dropped a new single to celebrate.
Substance And Or Style, set to release on November 15th via Impressed Recordings, may be The Ferguson Rogers Process’ debut album, but it is not the first time Rogers and Ferguson have worked together.
Previously known as Tim Rogers & The Bamboos, the pair already have one collaborative album under their belt: The Rules Of Attraction, which dropped in 2015.
Now rebranding as The Ferguson Rogers Process, the pair are combining groove and rock into one genre. Fresh off the success of their debut single Live Together and a teaser Melbourne show at the start of August, they’ve now released their latest track, Dirty-Clean.
Confident in the longevity of Substance And Or Style, Ferguson said, “I hope it ends up soundtracking some wild times. I’ve spent the last 30 years+ involved in making music with the primary purpose of inducing humans to move with reckless, rhythmic abandon. Why stop now?”

All ten songs on the record were produced by Ferguson, and recorded, mixed and mastered by his longtime studio partner, John Castle.
Substance And Or Style will be the first full album project released by Impressed Recordings.
“Impressed Recordings are honoured to provide a home for The Ferguson Rogers Process,” said Managing Director Luke Bevans. “This is our first ‘proper’ signing to the label, and we’ve pulled on our oft-neglected dancing shoes to celebrate. It’s a privilege for them to join the label.”
‘Substance And Or Style’ will be released on November 15 via Impressed Recordings. The second single off the album, ‘Dirty-Clean’, is out now.
