Universal Signs Emerging DJ Duo

The Faders hope to graduate from private parties and corporate functions

Emerging DJ duo The Faders have signed with Universal Music Australia, as their latest dance acquisition.

Consisting of Milly Gattegno and Suhana Lye, Universal will be looking to replicate the career paths of their flagship local DJs Havanna Brown and Nino Brown.

"We are super excited to join the Universal music family and follow in the footsteps of some of our favourite music idols," the duo said in a statement today. "We're channeling an old school house party, it's a mix of our favourite hip hop, R&B and party jams – music we would listen to get amped for a night out on the town."

With a mix of hip hop, old school R&B and mainstream hits, The Faders have opened for the likes of N*E*R*D, and played private parties for T-Pain, Busta Rhymes and Wu Tang Clan as well as played at a number of corporate events.

They recently become part of Grant Smilie's 360 Agencyas well.

The Faders will release their mix album Friday 28 September.
