The English Beat Confirm 2014 Aus Tour

British ska collective The English Beat have announced they will be playing a run of shows in Australia next May.

The veteran band, formerly known as The Beat and led by Dave Wakeling, will perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth during their six-show visit. Tickets for these shows are available from Thursday 5 December.

Despite being around for over thirty years, The English Beat made their first trip to Australia only last year. After their first few shows, Wakeling and the band made the request to have no camera phones in use by fans at the remaining gigs.
