Winnipeg natives The Duhks have announced a short run of festival and headline shows at the turn of 2016, circling around their slots at Woodford Folk Festival, MONA and more.

The folk/roots fusion band will kick off their Australian shows at Queensland's Woodford Folk Festival between 29 December and 1 January 2016, before heading to Brissy's The Bearded Lady on Sunday, 3 January. After that, they duck over to Tasmania for the Cygnet Folk Festival from 8 to 10 January, and MONA on Sunday, 10 January.

The five-piece have their newest Beyond The Blue along for the ride, an eclectic assortment of songs that are "shaped by their collective experience of years on the road and driven by the sheer joy and inspiration that comes from reuniting".
