Two extreme dates for these three.

If you don't mind your music being a little on the extreme side of things, then you should most definitely consider going to see The Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw and Dir En Grey when they play two mammoth Sidewave dates next month.

For 15 year The Dillinger Escape Plan have proven to be one of the wildest propositions in heavy music, their records are out there in the best way possible and their live shows are nothing short of fucking unbelievable. The band's latest LP One Of Us Is The Killer could be their best to date and they're returning to Australia to show us what it's like live.

Getting to see Glassjaw as a part of the Soundwave festival a few years ago was pretty special for a lot of people and now, the opportunity to see them again is almost unbelievable. The band's unique brand of furious punk rock continues to find them new fans as well as satiating the old faithful.

Finally, Japanese masters Dir En Grey have never been to Australia before, but we hear they're incredible. They've released eight records in their time and pretty much toured everywhere else and, frankly, we have a bit of a soft spot for Japanese punk rock and metal so we're expecting this will be something very special.
