More The Creases The Creases

The Creases have dropped their first taste of new music today in the form of single, Impact, and to celebrate they'll be taking to the east coast of Australia this July.

The upbeat beach pop quartet out of Brisbane has been circulating cities and airwaves since the release of their last single, Point, mid-2015, enabling them to play alongside The Maccabees, The Preatures and even a series of their own sold out headline shows.

"It [Impact] was recorded down in Melbourne with Malcolm Besley of Northeast Party House and features Liam McGorry of Saskwatch and Dorsal Fins on brass. The song talks about the struggles to keep a balanced lifestyle and relationship with people, work and sleep when everything you do creatively requires you to be unbalanced. It's been a highlight for us to play live for a while now so we're super excited to finally have it out in the world," frontman Joe Agius explains.

Catch The Creases in a few months when they bring Impact out on the road. They'll head to The Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane on 2 July, Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on 7 July and Newtown Social Club in Sydney on 9 July.
