Multi-genre mixers The Cat Empire will head out on an extensive national tour this September and October.

The collective will venture around the country, taking in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Forster, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour on the run. Advance tickets are available to punters on the band's mailing list, with general sale available on Monday 16 June.

The Cat Empire will be joined by reggae/cumbia blended ensemble Madre Monte and Sydney's Tom Thum throughout the tour. Details can be found below.

The tour kicks off a month after the band complete a series of shows in Europe.
