The Brian Jonestown Massacre Reveal Plans For Joint Australian Tour With The Dandy Warhols

More The Brian Jonestown Massacre The Brian Jonestown Massacre Profile

Set to embark on a headline tour of Australia next month, The Brian Jonestown Massacre have revealed they are planning to return to the country next year with fellow US outfit, The Dandy Warhols.

Speaking to The Music this month ahead of their June run, frontman Anton Newcombe confirmed they are set to head back Down Under in 2019.

"I think next year we're going to do a crazy show outside of Melbourne, with The Dandy Warhols, in some amphitheatre vineyard thing…" Newcombe said.

While it may be too early to make any assumptions, the whole "amphitheatre vineyard thing" has A Day On The Green written all over it, but time will tell!

A joint tour would not only be huge news for fans of both bands, but it would especially be interesting given their love-hate relationship, documented in 2004 film, Dig!.
