The Break Postpone Sydney Gig Due To Family Illness

Brian Ritchie's son is undergoing an emergency lung transplant

For fans of The Break who were heading along to the band's Sydney gig this weekend - it's been postponed until further notice, with Brian Ritchie's son set to undergo emergency lung transplant surgery.

In a post on their official Facebook page, the band said,"Brian is winging his way to the US at this moment as his son Silas is having an emergency lung transplant. We all wish them both well. Stay tuned for the rescheduled date."

The legendary Aussies were locked in to perform at The Standard this Saturday 22 June, but unfortunately you'll have to wait a bit longer to see them. No word yet as to when the show will be rescheduled to, but this is expected to be revealed soon.

We wish Brian, his son and family all the best at this time.
