Popular US blues/rock duo The Black Keys have spoken out against Carl Barat of former British rock outfit The Libertines, labelling the aforementioned musician as a "prick".
In a lengthy interview with UK newspaper The Guardian, singer Dan Auerbach elaborated of his bandmate's (drummer Patrick Carney) disgust of Barat.
"There's nobody Pat wants to punch in the face more than Carl Barât, you know," Auerbach said.
Additionally, Carney offered his own opinions on the matter.
"Aw, I've been making fun of Carl Barât all day. He looks like a prick, but he reminds me of how I thought I was coming off when I was 23. A dude, y'know," he said.
