Beloved Sydney music venue The Annandale Hotel has been broken into overnight. The perpetrators, a man and a woman in their late teens or early twenties, managed to open the venue's bar till and stole $5,000 in cash.
Their thieving wasn't done there, however. To rub salt into the wound, the pair decided to help themselves to a few beers from the bar before making their escape.
Clear CCTV footage of both individuals has been recovered and posted online by owners Matt Rule and Dan Rule today, who are offering a slab of beer to anyone who can identify them. Punters are urged to share the footage as much as possible.

The theft has angered the Rule brothers, who have worked hard to lift the venue out of financial difficulty. Their successful 'Buy-A-Brick' fundraising campaign allowed the venue to be substantially renovated earlier this year.
