The Amity Affliction have released the eponymous track from their upcoming album, 'This Could Be Heartbreak'. And it's actually quite good. I mean, it still sounds like Amity, obviously, but it's pretty solid.

The title track is also perhaps one of the poppiest songs the band has released to date, despite the screams and heavy riffs, of course. Also, those verses gave me some massive Being As An Ocean vibes at times.
Actually, this song also reminded me of an older TAA song, 'Never Alone'. Seriously, it's really fucking similar. Play 'em back to back to see for yourself.
Now, the music video for 'This Could Be Heartbreak' is a continuation of the narrative shown in 'I Bring The Weather With Me' clip, showing the wake service and emotional aftermath of the protagonist's funeral from that first video. The allegory of this new music video has for depression and being too late to help someone in need is, while clear as day, quite an evocative tale. Props, Amity, this arguably one of your better videos thus far.

The band's new album, 'This Could be Heartbreak', lands on August 12th through UNFD and is expected to sell by the fucking truckload.
I'd link in their Australian August/September tour dates below, but if you don't have tickets for those shows now, tough titty. As every date is now sold out!
