The 1975 ProfileThe 1975 are well on their way to clinching their second-straight #1 Australian album this week with A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships.
According to midweek figures, the UK outfit's third LP should debut in the top five and is one of the favourites to take out top spot on the Albums list. It comes after their 2016 record, I Like It When You Sleep,for You Are So BeautifulYet So Unaware of It, also peaked at #1.
It will likely contend with the A Star Is Born soundtrack (gunning for a seventh-straight week at #1) and Michael Bublé's Christmas album, which has returned to top spot in Australia every December since its release in 2011.
The only other album to debut on the chart this week is Earl Sweatshirt's Some Rap Songs, which is predicted to debut in the top 30.
Over on the Singles chart, Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next should stay at #1 for a fourth consecutive week, following the release of the much-hyped music video which has already clocked up over 110 million views, making it the biggest video debut in YouTube history.
Debut tracks this week include Mark Ronson's Nothing Breaks Like A Heart featuring Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj's Mama (both top 20), Amy Shark's All Loved Up and Meek Mill's Going Bad featuring Drake (both top 50).
