Tequila Mockingbyrd Announce Shows With Thirsty Merc

Melbourne rockers  Tequila Mockingbyrd have announced a run of shows in Queensland this month supporting Aussie favourites Thirsty Merc on their The Good Life tour.

 

The string of shows will kick off on the Gold Coast at the Coolangatta Hotel on 22 October, followed up by a show at The Zoo in Brisbane on 23 October, before they finish up the next day at the Villa Noosa Hotel in Noosaville.

 

The band will then move on to perform headline shows throughout Victoria and New South Wales following their Queensland dates to take them through to December this year.

 

The T-Byrd’s have just come off an inspirational trip to the Middle East, performing numerous shows for the service men and women of the Australian Defence Force.  

 

The girls were honoured to be given such an amazing opportunity and have described it as “an experience of a lifetime”.

 

"The stories we heard along the way were incredible, a truly humbling experience. It's not every day you get to eat lunch with a fighter pilot or meet a real life rocket queen! It was quite surreal seeing a crowd of sober soldiers who have spent all day working in the heat, rock out and let their hair down during our set."
