*Cues 'Love Story'*
Despite managing to keep their relationship relatively private over the past five years, reports are that pop superstar Taylor Swift and English actor Joe Alwyn are engaged.
The news was originally reported by Life & Style, who revealed the engagement after weeks of speculation after the duo took a three-day trip to Cornwall in January.
Alwyn’s previously collaborated with Swift under the pseudonym William Bowery, contributing to Folklore songs Betty and Exile as well as Evermore’s title track and Champagne Problems and Coney Island from the same album.
During her 2021 Grammy Awards acceptance speech for Album of the Year, Swift noted that Alwyn was “the first person that I sing every single song that I write”.
During the same speech, she added: “I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine."
Alwyn’s notable credits include Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, Mary Queen Of Scots and The Favourite.
