Introducing the Tasmanian Wine Festival.
Tasmania has picked up a brand new wine festival, set to launch in 2020.
The Tasmanian Wine Festival will take place in the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens on 22-23 February.
“What’s a great wine without great food, music and company?" said organiser Brendan Self.
"Perhaps an oyster to enjoy with your sparkling, a burger or pizza with your red or some seafood with your white? We will host some of Tassie’s best food producers and vendors.”
Joining the musical line-up will be Fulton Street, Bad Dad Orchestra, Hugo Bladel and Robotikus, while vineyards like Observatory Hill, Boomer Creek, Grey Sands, Frogmore Creek and more will all showcased at the event.
“We are going to have some fun creating a Frogmore festival wine zone to compliment all the other elements of the event," added Frogmore Creek brand manager Shelley Bickerstaff.
"We are excited this can be enjoyed over two fun-filled days.”
