Tash SultanaTash Sultana might claim their first-ever #1 Australian album this week.
According to mid-week chart figures, it's looking likely that Sultana's Terra Firma will land in the Top 3 on this week's ARIA Albums Chart.
The album follows on from Sultana's 2018 debut album, Flow State, which landed at #2 on the chart.
It's been a big week for Sultana, who has also announced today that they're the first Australian artist to launch a map in the wildly popular game, Fortnite. Inspired by the album, Sultana has worked with designers LootMate to create a custom map based on the album's artwork by Pat Fox.
Sultana caught up with The Green Room podcast's Neil Griffiths recently to chat about their global success over the past few years - including the time at a show where "the whole fucking stage collapsed". Head here to check it out.
Another local act is set to make an impact on this week's Album Chart, with Adam Harvey's Songs From Highway One expected to debut within the Top 10. Ariana Grande's Positions is likely to make a huge jump up the chart from #32 to the Top 3, while BTS' Be is likely to re-enter the chart to land in the Top 10.
Over on the Singles Chart, Amy Shark's Ed Sheeran collab, Love Songs Ain't For Us feat. Keith Urban, is due to debut in the Top 20, while ATB's Your Love (9PM) is likely to debut in the Top 50.
International acts are expected to make some big moves on the chart this week too, with Cardi B likely to move into the Top 15 from #19 with new single Up, while Dua Lipa is looking at Top 25 for We're Good (up from #27).
Australian artist Masked Wolf is due for another impressive week. His track Astronaut In The Ocean made its Top 50 debut last week, landing at #47. It's expected to move up into the Top 30 this week.
