Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Tartie to launch intimate EP

Tash Anderson is the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter who has rebranded herself with the moniker of Tartie.

Having spent far too long doing laundry since returning home after a musical endeavour through the USA, Tartie has given up on her myriad of mismatched socks and has instead put pen to paper. She has connected the dots of life, love and loss through matching metaphors with rhythmic guitar hooks that have come to form the tracks within her debut EP titled Your Today.

Sourcing influences from the lyrically genius likes of Lana Del Rey, The National and Missy Higgins, Tartie's heartfelt compositions are an authentic and tasteful reminder of how one's sadness can be expressed so gently through honest music.

Tartie's five-piece collection of alternative-pop will be showcased at The Workers Club on Wednesday 22 Mar for an intimate live show which will celebrate the release.
