Taperjean sign Adelaide band Capulet

Independent label Taperjean records are set to release the debut EP from Adelaide’s Capulet titled “ We Wont Let Go” which will be available nationally on Friday July 3rd. The band have announced a string of Australian dates as part of the “ Coast To Coast Tour”. 

After building a solid following around Adelaide since their inception, the quintet set off to Sydney in late 2008 to lay down tracks with Dave Petrovic at his Electric Sun Studios.

What came of it? A dynamic, powerful release that combines unique vocals with soaring guitar melodies paired with a tight back line brings you ‘We Won’t Let Go’ a polished representation of what Capulet can bring to the melodic rock table.

Being Taperjean’s first Adelaide signing, both parties are excited about this partnership as explains guitarist Tom Hamilton “It has been great to have the backing of Taperjean along the way. Taperjean has given us the step up that we need; to allow us to reach the next level as a band. The help of Taperjean has allowed us to concentrate on our music, because we know that all the commercial aspects are being well looked after.”

Capulet are then set to hit the road in the weeks following to allow punters and industry folk alike the chance to experience the energetic stage show which Adelaide fans have come to love and appreciate. The first of many tours planned for the rest of the year, Capulet is looking forward to hitting the road. “Playing shows in NSW and Queensland will be particularly exciting for us as we have never performed there before. It is exciting to have the opportunity to do what we love in a different environment and perhaps also gain some new fans along the way,” says Hamilton.
