Tamworth Country Music Festival Unveils Third Artist Announcement For 2020

The 2020 Tamworth Country Music Festival just keeps growing and growing with the event today unveiling its third artist announcement.

Lyn Bowtell, Christie Lamb, Brad Cox, Blake O’Connor and Luke Dickens join the line-up with Adam Eckersley Band, Whiskey Mountain Boys and The Chicken Train Skifflers set to perform at The Albert Hotel.

Moonshiners, Tamworth’s honky-tonk venue, will also host the likes of Caitlyn Shadbolt, Jayne Denham, Michael Waugh, James Blundell & Friends, Homegrown, Kaylens Rain, Liam Brew, and Warren H Williams.

The Tamworth Hotel will  feature free shows from Andrew Swift, and Macca & Friends in Concert, The Pigs, Pete Denahy, Melissa Bajric and the Kross Kut Records Showcase will all play the Capitol Theatre. The Tamworth Country Music Charity Ball will also return to Tamworth Town Hall.  

They join a line-up that already boasts huge names including Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan and The McClymonts.

“These artists join the already huge line-up performing in Tamworth this coming January, and it’s reassuring to see artists continuing to support what is not only the biggest festival in the country but the biggest economic driver for the Tamworth region," said Festival Manager, Barry Harley.

The 48th Tamworth Country Music Festival will be held from 17 to 26 January.
