With Once Upon A Time In Italy

Once Upon A Time In Italy is an audio-visual journey through the Italian soundtracks of Italian comedy.

From NOMIT (The Italian Network Of Melbourne) comes this show at Ding Dong Longe on 1 Dec, which will answer any questions you may have about the success of Italian cinema, its comedies, and iconic actors such as Vittorio Gassman, Marcello Mastroianni and Alberto Sordi.

From 7pm, the Melbourne Groove Conspiracy (Alessandro Stellano bass, Darcy Sweeney guitar, Nanni Calandro drums) will take you back to the '60s and '70s. There'll be sounds and projected pieces of Italian cinema, as well as behind-the-scenes narratives spoken by Italian musician Nanni Calandro and homegrown musician Mitch Ward.

Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $10.
