Sydonia Return With 'Eyes Of Sand'

Melbourne's Sydonia have given us their first taste of album #3 today in the form of 'Eyes Of Sand'.

The band's powerhouse vocalist Dana Roskvist shared the band's excitement about their new material and upcoming tour (more on that later):

"We are so thrilled to be getting new music to the world. Putting out new music and touring is what drives us, we love being out there in venues with people who have been coming to see us for years and also seeing new faces at the shows. This run is probably the most exciting we have done in a LONG time - and it's nice to tick off a headline show at The Corner."

'Eyes of Sand', which originally premiered over at Blunt Mag earlier today, was produced by the band themselves, and this really is the group at their most frenetic and focused. Hell, the track was even mixed by Sydonia's solid as all fuck drummer, Sean Bailey, proving that drummers can do so much more than keep the rest of the band in time.

Now, while the new album's title hasn't been released just yet, I think that maybe 'Bangers For Days', or 'Sydonia III: The Ultimate Metal Experience' would work quite well as a title.

The local four-piece, who have received some very kind works from the likes of Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Slipknot's Corey Taylor (geez, talk about name dropping) are hitting the road on what is arguably their biggest Australian tours to date.
