Sydney Underground Film Festival returns with a killer 2015 program

The latest in underground and cult film to be screened for Sydney audiences this September.

Curating the most subversive, experimental and controversial films that 2015 has to offer, Sydney Underground Film Festival returns for a four-day event set to please even the harshest film fan.

Alongside masterclasses and special musical performances there will be over 100 film screenings over the four day event, including Australian premieres, retrospectives and Q&A screenings.

Some of the highlights of this year's program include the Australian premiere of WE ARE TWISTED FUCKING SISTER!, a look into the rise of the infamous heavy metal band, a screening of Knock Knock, the latest thriller from famed horror director Eli Roth and Back in Time, a look into the impact Back to the Future has had on popular culture in celebration of 30 years since the original film's release.

Sydney Underground Film Festival will be held 17 — 20 Sept at the Factory Theatre, Marrickvile.
