The rooftop of Sydney Town Hall is to be transformed into a live music terrace and bar for a series of free performances across September.
Inspired by the rooftop gardens of New York, The Terrace's sustainability inspired design by landscape design gurus Amber Duo features garden furniture to fit in with the spring theme of the bar and performance space. Taking place from the 18-27 September, the terrace will see one-night-only performances from Microwave Jenny, Jones Jnr, Twin Cavern, an acoustic set from Dave and Joji of Gang Of Youths and many others.
The Terrace has been set-up by the City of Sydney in co-operation with the Arts and About program, who transform inner city spaces into gathering places for workers and residents.
