Sydney Rides Festival Cycles Through Sydney In October

Twenty events to feature at annual Sydney Rides Festival

Sydney Rides Festival has announced its fifth installment in October this year.

The three-week festival is set to feature pedal yoga classes, guided bike tours, roller racing and a nighttime bike tour of Sydney landmarks, Light The City.

There will also be workshops, film nights and group rides.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the Festival is "a great opportunity to explore our city by bike".

"It's a great chance for people to see for themselves the infrastructure that's supporting more people to ride and get fit, while reducing congestion."

The Festival launches at Sydney Park, 10 October, with bike-yoga, a bike-powered juice lounge, the Taronga Zoo-mobile, a BMX arena and supercorss track, mountain boarding, rock climbing and gourmet food options.

The full program will be released 20 August.

Sydney Rides Festival runs 10 - 31 October through Sydney.
