Sydney Film Festival Teams Up With Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre For Special Program

Some "outstanding" viewing.

Sydney Film Festival will bring the action to South Western Sydney audiences next month with a curated program of eight sessions at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

Happening as part of the 65th Sydney Film Festival (6 - 17 June), punters will get a second chance to see 2018 Opening Night selection The Breaker Upperers, produced by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do In The Shadows), and can also enjoy award-winning drama Wajib, supernatural young adult thriller The Changeover starring Timothy Spall and Lucy Lawless, drama The Wife and romance Puzzle.

“Two outstanding documentaries will also screen at Casula: Pick Of The Litter, following the tricky process of training guide dogs for the blind, and The Poetess, about the first female finalist to compete in the Arabic equivalent of the Idol TV franchise, as well as three great shorts from the Festival’s Screenability program,” Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre Director Craig Donarski said.
