Sydney Dance Company
has today unveiled its 2016 season under the eye of Artistic Director
Rafael Bonachela

His new work Lux Tenebris along with Swedish choreographer Alexander Ekman's Cacti will open 2016 as double bill CounterMove, touring to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Darwin, as well as through regional New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

In October, the company takes on another new work from Bonachela, which will be accompanied by Gabrielle Nankivell's Wildebeest, a work commissioned in 2014 for SDC and Carriageworks' New Breed program. Together they have been billed as Untamed.
