Meet the four choreographers commissioned for this exciting program.

Sydney Dance Company and Carriageworks have announced the four Australian choreographers commissioned to create works as part of the New Breed initiative, a three-year program that support the next generation of dance-makers.

Daniel Riley, Kristina Chan, Bernhard Knauer and Fiona Jopp will create works that will be presented at Carriageworks in December this year.

Also commissioned as part of the program are independent designers Matt Marshall and Aleisa Jelbart, and musician/composers Nick Thayer, James Brown, Jurgen Knauer, Toby Merz and Alicia Merz; they'll be working with the choreographers on their pieces.

The limited season runs from 8 to 13 Dec.
