Aussie instrumental acts Plini and The Helix Nebula have announced they will be hitting the road together this August for a joint national tour.

While solo artist Plini is currently on his way overseas to perform at the UK Tech-Metal fest, the upcoming shows will mark The Helix Nebula's first ever tour.

The tour kicks off in Sydney on 14 August, before the artist's move on to play shows in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
