A HUGE speaker and artist announcement.
Melbourne’s brand new music industry summit CHANGES has unveiled a massive inaugural program, boasting some epic speakers and live performances for its winter debut.
Set to go down from 4-5 July at HQ ACU Melbourne Campus and various other venues around the city, CHANGES has been programmed to “reshape the Australian music industry”, teaming up with labels, agencies and organisations to produce more than 80 showcases, while experts, mentors and storytellers “help light the path towards the future of the music industry”.
High Tension, Jaala, Cable Ties, Totally Mild, RVG and more lead the artists and a slew of international heavyhitters sign on as speakers, including SXSW Music Festival Programmer Stacey Wilhelm, New York’s Michelle Landry (Bowery Presents/Rough) and Carly James (Paradigm Talent Agency).
Reeperbahn’s Music Business Journalist of the Year in 2017, Cherie Hu (Forbes and Billboard), has also been confirmed, alongside Bandcamp Editorial Director Joseph Edward Keye, Pitchfork Contributing Editor Jenn Pelly and more.
