Sweden's Backyard Babies Cancel Upcoming Australian Tour

Backyard Babies have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour. 

The Swedish group were due to kick off their 30th anniversary shows this week, with the first to take place at Sydney's Manning Bar on Friday. 

In a post to Facebook, the group wrote, "We are forced to cancel our Australian tour due to circumstances beyond our control.

"Backyard Babies are extremely sad to inform you on this short notice and it’s hurts badly to disappoint our Australian fans.

"We will do whatever we can to return on another time."

The group were also set to play shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, with The Casanovas in support throughout the tour. 

Promoters Silverback Touring have advised that refunds will be issued automatically by ticket providers.
