Grimes, Sunnyboys Announced For Meredith

18 July 2012 | 9:28 am | Scott Fitzsimons

The ticket ballot is open.

More Grimes More Grimes

The Sunnyboys and Grimes have been announced for the Meredith Music Festival this morning, with all four original members of The Sunnyboys set to play their first Victorian show in 21 years.

The festival has released acts from both side of the spectrum this morning, with the '80s power-pop outfit a return that not many were sure could or would happen and Canada's experimental indie-electronic starlet Grimes one of the world's coolest acts at the moment.

Tickets for the festival, which have remained the same price for the last two years, are now available via ballot. Head to the festival's website and enter the ballot before Sunday 12 August to go in the running.

Today's announcement confirmed that the festival is "Still BYO. Still no commercial sponsors and still the No Dickhead Policy."
