More Splendour In The Grass More Splendour In The Grass

The documentary on The Sunnyboys' fromtman Jeremy Oxley, The Sunnyboys is set to screen at Splendour In The Grass as part of their Splendour Forum discussion program, which will also feature Julian Assange (via video link), John Safran, Christine Milne, Ben Lee and Sarah Blasko.

The live forums will cover political issues, songwriting, comedy and technology and will be held over the festival's weekend from 10am – 4pm daily.

FRIDAY JULY 26

11:00 – 12:00pm: Interview & Audience Q&A with Senator Christine Milne
Q&A with Greens leader Christine Milne, interviewed by ABC Radio's Robbie Buck.

1.00 – 2.00pm: APRA Presents: Songwriters Speak
Sarah Blasko and Spiderbait's Kram speak to ABC TV journalist Monique Schafter about songwriting.

2.30 – 4.00pm: Debate: Can We Trust the Media?
Debate featuring Network Ten boss Russel Howcroft, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, writer Dominic Knight, comedian Dan Ilic, Crikey's Andrew Cook and writer Alice Fraser. Moderate by former Fairfax editor Hugh Martin.

SATURDAY JULY 27

10:00 – 11:00am: Women of Letters
Annual feature with readings from Tim Rogers, Dave Grant and Clare Moore, Lisa Mitchell, Cloud Control's Heidi Lenffer, Alpine's Phoebe Baker and writers Marieke Hardy and Michaela McGuire.

12:00 – 2.30pm: Documentary screening: The Sunnyboy
Screening followed by interview with director Kaye Harrison, band member Peter Oxley, Jeremy Oxley's wife Mary Oxley Griffiths by journalist Monique Schafter.
3:00 – 4:00pm: Comedy: A Rational Fear
Comedy panel show with Dan Ilic, Dave O'Neil, Michael Hung, Alice Fraser, Zoe Norton Lodge and DJ Dylan Behan.

SUNDAY JULY 28

10:00 – 11:00am: The School of Life Presents: Secular Sermon with John Safran
John Safran on the topic of 'unrest' with singer/songwriter Nadav Kahn.

12:00 – 1.30pm: Panel: Ayahuasca & Altered States of Consciousness
Panel on plant that inspired Ben Lee's new album with Lindsay McDougall, Dace Graney and Clare Moore, Scott Owen, Lisa Mitchell, Nadav Kahn, Rak Razaman and Professor Bulent Turman.

2.30 – 4:00pm: Comedy: Story Club
Comedy readings from Zoe Norton Lodge, Ben Jenkins, Dave O'Neil, Tom Ballard, Kirsten Drysdale and Hugo Gruzman.
