Bringing summer festival vibes to Brisbane.

Following the success of the Summer Sounds Festival in Adelaide and Melbourne, it's been announced the COVID-safe live music series from Secret Sounds, the team behind Splendour In The Grass and Falls Festival, will be making its way north across April and May.

Now dubbed Summer(ish) Sounds (well even though the weather is usually pretty great in Brisbane, it's technically not summer anymore) it will bring the festival vibes back to the Riverstage from 23 April – 3 May.

The series will kick off with a performance from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Tropical Fuck Storm and The Murlocs on 23 April.

Previously announced shows from The Avalanches and Violent Soho will also fall under the Summer(ish) Sounds umbrella, while Ball Park Music will bring it on home with a gig on the Labour Day public holiday of 3 May.

Summer(ish) Sounds Brisbane is all ages and patrons can choose from a limited number of Premium Reserve Seating or GA Standing (and by standing, that means boogying) tickets.

The Riverstage’s amphitheatre will be divided into sections with a limited number of tickets sold for each area. Tickets will go on general sale this Thursday 25 March.
