14 December 2021 | 12:00 pm | Staff Writer

“It's been over two years since we've had the opportunity to perform in Greater Sydney so as you can imagine we are extremely excited to just get out there and play."

Live Nation and the City of Parramatta have combined to create a new mini-festival, Summer Sundown.

The event will be hosted in the world heritage listed Parramatta Park on January 25.

The line-up features some of Sydney's most exceptional homegrown talent, ending the craving for local live music in one of Sydney's most gorgeous locations.

World-renowned legends SAFIA lead the line-up with their electronic-inspired sonic soundscapes, alongside house and synth icon Touch Sensitive

ARIA-nominated producer and adored songwriter Alice Ivy will be delivering her recent collaborative singles to the stage for the first time, following CLYPSO opening up proceedings with her tropical-inspired electronica.

On performing, SAFIA commented: "It's been over two years since we've had the opportunity to perform in Greater Sydney so as you can imagine we are extremely excited to just get out there and play!
