Astral People have joined forces with the social enterprise House of Darwin to announce the official lineup of selectors slated to play the first Summer Dance of 2025.

Summer Dance is notorious for being one of the sweatiest parties in all of Eora, hosting major local and international DJs for a one-of-a-kind, day-to-night doof that you won’t experience anywhere else. Its consistent sell-out status makes it a “need to be there” type of party, where FOMO is bound to envelop you if you miss out. Previous programming has held talents like Honey Dijon, Moodymann, Four Tet, Yung Singh, Crybaby, Sollyy and CC:DISCO!, and so much more, boasting only the best of the best when it comes to soundtracking a good party.

Taking over Liberty Hall on January 4th for the first edition of Summer Dance 2025, you’ll find London via Amsterdam DJ Jyoty. Jyoty is no stranger to the Summer Dance decks, having also headlined Summer Dance AFTER DARK in 2023. Returning to the stage, she brings with her a delicately curated selection of sounds that are bound to get your body moving. Also hopping onto the decks is Aotearoa DJ HALF QUEEN. With an artistry entrenched in their experiences as a Fijian and Pākehā person in Aotearoa, punters can expect to hear a unique blend of sounds from local and global diasporas. Also on the ranks is Gamilaraay woman and DJ crescendoll, who carries high-energy club ethos through every set she does, merging juke, jersey, footwork, hard drum, UK bass, UKG and acid altogether.

If that wasn’t enough to get you over the finish line, the Summer Dance AFTER DARK lineup has come equipped with sounds that’ll keep you on your feet long into the late hours of the night. UK music pioneers Flowdan and Neffa-T come with full electricity, with thumping basslines that are bound to ricochet off the four walls of Liberty Hall. Joining them is UK- legend CLIPZ, bringing to Summer Dance AFTER DARK a selection of top-tier jungle and drum & bass – prepare to be drenched. Finally, homegrown dub and garage connoisseurs Bouki and Mash will be taking over with an exclusive B2B set.
