Sumac return with new song

Sumac have unveiled a new song, with neither a timid note nor subtle approach found.

Sumac have unveiled a new song, with neither a timid note nor subtle approach found throughout the 10-minute musical beast.

The three-piece, comprised of members from Isis (the band, of course!), Old Man Gloom, Russian Circles, and Baptists, posted new tack 'Rigid Man' this week, with the song lifted from the band's forthcoming album, 'What One Becomes'.

“Much of it [the album] has to do with questioning fabricated structures of identity and what it means when those structures are destabilized by contact with the outside," Aaron Turner states.

'What One Becomes' is due out June 10 via Thrill Jockey.
