Suicidal Tendencies stage diver dies

A 28-year old fan has passed away from injuries sustained while stage diving at a Suicidal Tendencies concert last week in Switzerland.

A 28-year old fan has passed away from injuries sustained while stage diving at a Suicidal Tendencies concert last week in Switzerland.

The incident occurred on January 22, as crowd members at the concert failed to catch the man properly and caused him to land badly, Solothurner Zeitung reports (via Blabbermouth).

The head of the venue, Pipo Kofmehl, said "A security guard responded immediately, helped the young man and our emergency unit reacted as well".

The 28-year old was then seen walking around shortly after the fall, expressing a desire to go home. "Our team decided, however, that he should immediately seek hospital care," stated Kofmehl.

It is reported that the man then had an epileptic serizure, and died two days later at the Bern University Hospital.
