Submissions Open For Carlton Dry Indie Music Photo Expo

The Carlton Dry Independent Music Awards are almost upon us for another year, and with the event speedily approaching the call has gone out for submissions from music photographers to join the running for a touch of prestige when the winners are announced on Wednesday, October 8.

The photographic component of the awards is organised by the CDIMAs in conjunction with veteran camera man Kane Hibberd, and entails an exhibition of photos featuring the country's best independent artists, drawn from the pool of award nominees.

With a roster of artists and bands up for awards including the likes of DMA's, D.D. Dumbo, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Allday, Meg Mac, Sia, Courtney Barnett and Violent Soho, you can guarantee that the final visual spread to grace the Meat Market come awards night will be one for the ages.

Submitting your work is simple - just make sure you've got a few mad photos of one of the nominated acts (listed in full below), submit five of your best (low-res, 1920px wide, no watermarks) to Kane Hibberd by Monday, September 29. All accepted photographers will score tickets to the awards, plus full crediting rights, as you'd hope and expect.
