Sublime With Rome have announced that they have signed a deal with Fueled By Ramen.

The band, now fronted by twenty-two year old Rome Ramirez, will be releasing their first since new recorded material since original front man Bradley Nowell died in 1996, through the label in the coming months.

The band is currently in the studio with producer Paul Leary, who also worked with the band on their 1996 self-titled album.

Ramirez had the following to say about the new record:

“Everything’s been going amazing in the studio. The music has been coming along great, and we’re confident that we’re making a record that will stand the test of time. We can’t wait for the fans to hear it, and are already planning a world tour to bring it to them live.”

The band made the slight name change from Sublime to Sublime With Rome in 2009 after Nowell's estate filed a laswuit claiming they didn't own the rights to that name.
