Stonefest 'Rock On' Party To Replace 2011 Festival

Stonefest 2011 has been downsized to the new 'Rock On' party, dropping all rock and indie acts

The low ticket sales bug has bitten another event, this time spreading to the nation's capital.  The Stonefest Music Festival in Canberra has been in a sense scrapped, downsized and replaced by the Stonefest 'Rock On' Party.

The 'Rock On' title seems a little ironic as the event no longer boasts any of the original headline rock acts such as Jebediah and The Vines, instead it has been transformed into a dance and hip hop party.  It's all just a bit awkward.  That said, if you're in the area you might as well check out the silent party where some of our Canberra favourites, Architect DJs and PARTY BY JAKE DJs will be mixing up a storm.

Ticket holders who purchased Stonefest 2011 tickets via credit card will receive an automatic refund to their card. Those that purchased with cash or EFTPOS should return to their point of purchase with photo identification to obtain a refund.

If you want to go to new event, you will have to repurchase tickets HERE
