"A little bit of something for everyone."
Following a ten-year absence, Canberra's iconic Stonefest is set to return to the ACT this year and has delivered a bumper line-up to boot.
Going down on 19 October, Skeggs, Mallrat, British India, Example and a whole lot more will descend onto the University of Canberra campus to revive the festival.
Stonefest was originally established in 1971 to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone of the Canberra College of Advanced Education (now University of Canberra) by Prime Minster John Gorton.
“We’ve got this great mix of emerging and local artists as well as some artists who’ve had a lot of success but haven’t necessarily been through Canberra before,” said Kelsey Bagust, UC Live Music Manager. “There’s a really great range of genres and artists on the lineup; a little bit of something for everyone. It’s really exciting that over 60% of the bands have non-male representation as well."
Tickets for the festival are on sale now. Scroll down to theGuide for all the details and check out the full line-up below!
