Stone Temple Pilots have unveiled the album to select sources, one of which being The Pulse of Radio, whose reporter stated the album is “a natural, melodic progression for Stone Temple, with Beatles-esque harmonies, a lot of in-your-face, hard-rocking tracks, plenty of guitar solos and some astounding singing from Weiland”.
