Broadway theatre is a beautiful thing
When did the Tony Awards make the leap from niche relevance to being a must-see event?
It's probably been since Neil Patrick Harris became a regular fixture of the awards ceremony, if we're honest. And even though the World's Favourite Man was not the Tonys' host this year (a role he filled in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013), he still managed to be one of the very best things about the evening.
Along with his fellow cast members, NPH performed a rendition of the highly sexual Sugar Daddy, from his current project Hedwig And The Angry Inch - and proceeded to take things to next-level standards, as the gender-bending, incredibly fabulous theatrical powerhouse got up close and personal with the super-butch likes of Samuel L. Jackson, not to mention a kind-of-uncomfortable-looking Sting.

Harris' Sugar Daddy performance wasn't the only slice of borderline-insane greatness on show at the Tonys, though - our very own Wolverine, Hugh Jackman, surprised us when he made his kind of out-of-nowhere hip-hop debut (replete with US accent) alongside famed rappers T.I. and LL Cool J.
The allure of this one kind of speaks for itself, no? If not, Jackman actually says the words, "Give me a beat," and proceeds to hang pretty well alongside the rap-scene veterans in their contemporary version of The Music Man.
Go forth. Devour.
