'2020 Is Stevan's Year': Local Artist Inks Label Deal With Astral People Recordings

BIGSOUND highlight and all 'round wunderkind Stevan has inked a global label deal with Astral People Recordings. 

Stevan already holds a management deal with Astral People, and will be the second signing to the company's record label arm since it formed earlier this year. He will remain with Honeymoon/+1 Records within America. 

Speaking of the signing, Tom Huggett of Astral People Recordings said, "Stevan has been an underground Australian favourite of ours ever since we found his Soundcloud page back in 2017 after listening to his track Ugly. 

"He's spent the majority of his teenhood mastering all the genres he loves which shows through the upcoming releases he has under his belt. He's the sort of artist we'd be championing in our downtime whether we were professionally involved or not... which is the exact ethos we follow here at Astral People Recordings. We have no doubt that 2020 is Stevan's year.''

The news is paired with a new single and video from Stevan. The track, called Warm, is about "wanting and needing to keep my loved ones safe and secure", he said in a statement.
