Stereosonic Adds Over 300 Homegrown Acts To Lineup

In an absolutely enormous announcement, the promoters of Stereosonic have unveiled quite a large addition to the festival's 2013 lineup, with an extra 300 plus Australian acts joining the bill alongside Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren and David Guetta.

Stereosonic have always had a passion for nurturing Aussie acts, and promoter and Touring Director Simon Coyle says the recently added performers will showcase what the country has on offer at the moment.

“Stereosonic prides itself on supporting up and coming local artists. There is an incredible explosion of Australian talent at the moment. As the premier Australian electronic festival, it is our pleasure to announce such a strong local presence at the festival,” Coyle said.

The talent ranges from Australian DJ identities to up-and-coming DJs from competition Your Shot.
