The rivalry between Australia and New Zealand continues to remain strong as Australia’s Stealing O’neal and New Zealand’s Goodnight Nurse go head to head making their way through the five main cities of Australia, as part of a mammoth 15 date tour, displaying the best up and coming bands from both sides of the Tasman.
Weighing in on the left stands Stealing O’neal. Off the back of national tours with The Getaway Plan and In Fiction, and appearances on Come Together, Pushover and the St Kilda Fest, they released their newest offering ‘Chin Up Baby’ taken from the ‘Collidescope’ EP. The Melbourne based five piece makes a strong claim as one of the best young live acts in the country, and with a work ethic to match, they’re a must see.
Weighing in on the right corner is New Zealand’s greatest new export Goodnight Nurse. Making their mark whilst also touring nationally alongside The Getaway Plan earlier this year, their new video off their second studio album ‘Keep Me On Your Side’ is now featuring on Channel V, and with a live show to match the hype, Goodnight Nurse are a band not be missed.
