The Detroit techno veteran will make his 15th visit in 16 years next month
Michigan-bred techno legend Stacey Pullen has announced that he will return Down Under for his fifteenth visit in sixteen years, embarking upon a whirlwind three-date tour of the country next month.
Getting under way at Perth's Geisha Bar on Friday, October 3, Pullen will cross the country to grace the stage at Melbourne's New Guernica on October 4 before heading up to Sydney for a Labor Day Eve performance at the Greenwood Hotel on Sunday, October 5.
It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it journey from the experienced tourist, who has only missed out on visiting one year since 1998 — 2013 — and is renowned around the world as one of the foremost identities of the Detroit second-wave techno scene and, even if you've never attended an electronic gig in your life, it's easy to see from pretty much any arbitrarily chosen piece of his work why he is so thoroughly and vehemently venerated the world over.
Tickets for Stacey Pullen's impending Aussie sojourn are on sale now; see the Gig Guide or check The Music App for more information regarding dates, venues and ticketing details.
