Aus Release Date Confirmed For New Joanna Newsom Album

Spunk Records have today announced some very exciting news in that they will be releasing US artist Joanna Newsom's new album, Divers, next month. 

The new record is the fourth from the Californian-born songwriter and the first record to be released since 2010's Have One On Me. Newsom has worked with Steve Albini recording this album.

It is also speculated that Newsom will be heading to Australia in the near future in support of the forthcoming album, which will no doubt excite Aussie fans who will be given the opportunity to see the new material live in concert. 

Newsom has also recently released the video to one of the tracks that will feature on her new work, Sapokanikan, which can be checked out below. The video was directed by no-less than Paul Thomas Anderson (Inherent Vice, The Master, Magnolia, Boogie Nights).

Divers is due for release on 23 October.
