The Manchester four-piece have been enjoying a steadily growing momentum around the world of late

Garage-rock act Spring King have announced their signing to Dew Process and Universal Music Australia in the lead-up to the Australian release of their new single, Rectifier.

The killer four-piece outfit, all the way from Manchester, have cleared the paperwork side to the game with their recent signing to provide ample room to kick out their flash-paced new single, over which NME had declared, “You can hear within about 20 seconds of it starting why so many people are gushing about the band.”

Spring King have been cooking on high rotation across triple j with their latest summer track, Who Are You, blistering on all sides.

After initiating a buzz in 2014 through their early singles, Spring King began touring with the likes of Courtney Barnett, Slaves and FIDLAR, and rocked a breakout performance last year’s legendary Reading Festival — and did so without having an album released.

Nevertheless, they caught on quick through tastemakers at a wealth of international music outlets, having garnered radio play through Radio 1, 6 Music and the home-grown boffins at triple j.

Spring King are geared for higher revs with the announcement of their new record deal and in the wake of Rectifier, which will be available from Friday, 12 February, via iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music through Dew Process/UMA.
